The hotel is located in a historic building that once functioned as an orphanage and nursing-home. Rooms at Hotel Arena come with high ceilings, large windows, sloping walls, wooden beams and original ornaments. All rooms are different but each room has a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, seating area and private bathroom.

The hotel's entrance is accessible via the Oosterpark. Parking is available for a surcharge in the underground garage.
